| Almost 40 Leaders and Scouts from our Service Unit had a "Winter Fun Day" at Camp Elliott's Woods Edge Lodge over the weekend, despite the lack of snow. The girls enjoyed coloring a bandana, making a bird feeder, and painting a necklace, and Girl Scout traditions such as making SWAP, going on a hike, and playing games. There was also time during the day to make cards for airmen who are being deployed later this year and inventory the lodge's kitchen. The highlight for many of the girls was exploring the creek in the afternoon. While the girls may have gone home with wet and muddy boots, they also went home with new memories of the fun times that can be had a camp! |
