Girl Scouts Celebrate World Thinking Day

With a little over 40 Scouts and Leaders in attendance, the Mercer and Commodore Perry Girl Scouts came together on February 21st to celebrate World Thinking Day. In honor of the Olympics being held this year, the girls enjoyed an afternoon of participating in the Girl Scout Olympics. Girls enjoyed bowling, ring toss, snowman races, curling, 4 square, snowball fights, balloon volleyball, and "Cookie Lympics". The purpose of Thinking Day is to celebrate all Girl Scouts from around the world. Our girls got to celebrate with girls from a different school, allowing them to meet and interact with other Girl Scouts.  Everyone had a great time.  Thank you to Deb and Viki for organizing this event!
