Camp Creepy Volunteers

 

Over the weekend, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts from Mercer volunteered at Camp Creepy - a fun Halloween event held at Camp Redwing, a Girl Scout camp located outside of Evans City.  The Mercer scouts joined 150 other volunteers to make the event possible for over 400 participants, teaching the girls to play the Israeli game of "Ga Ga".  Later, the camp volunteers and other older scouts got "creeped out" in the Haunted Hollow's haunted house and scary trail, played ghastly carnival games, and listened to reps from the Pittsburgh Paranormal Society tell their tales.... thanks to Karla and Andrea of GSWPA for excellent events, and to Maureen for taking our local scouts to it!
