A Fun Night for Ambassador Scouts

While I'm not a big fan of Miley Cyrus or Cyndi Lauper, I do have to agree that sometimes girls "just wanna have fun", and that's what Ambassador Troop 30609 did over the weekend.  The girls had a great time completing a Mall Scavenger Hunt and shopping, wrapping up the night with prizes that they had purchased while at the Mall and, a Troop favorite and tradition for many years, ice cream.  Of course, no get together with Scouts this age would be complete without talking about how their Gold Award projects and proposals are going. 

As the Mercer Area Girl Scout Troops start off the 2012-2013 Scouting year, I hope that everyone will find their girls having fun while learning and trying new things, helping out in the community, and getting outdoors and active with their Girl Scout Troop.  It's a great time to be a Girl Scout!
