Mercer Area Girl Scouts had the opportunity to learn about Stamp Collecting at the recent "Stamps at Camp" program that was hosted by Kate and Grace at Camp Elliott as part of their Silver Award project. At the program the girls enjoyed traditional camp activities such as cooking dinner on the fire and playing games outside, as well as learning about the hobby of stamp collecting and making crafts with stamps. The girls all look forward to returning to camp for a hike and to see the creek!The Scouts were invited to participate in a Stamp Show that will be held at the Mercer Area Library on Wednesday, August 15th from 6:30-7:30 pm.
