Over the weekend scouts from Troop 36870 went to Cuyahoga Valley National park. It was the First National Park visit for these Girl Scouts! We participated in the National Parks 50th Anniversary Celebration! Lots of adventuring as we hiked over and around rocks, streams, and waterfalls at Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Richfield Heritage Preserve, and Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park. A world of adventure, just a short drive away in Ohio! A highlight was the girls (and leaders) learning about CVNP as they completed the CVNP Junior Ranger Badge. They received their badges and were sworn in as Junior Rangers by a female park ranger!
