Scouts and Leaders from Cadette Troop 36870 Volunteered at the Shenango River Watchers 10k race. We were set up at the 6 and 1/2 mile mark and passed out water, Gatorade and energy snacks as the runners went by. The 1st place finisher was a women that finished in just over an hour! Girl power!
After the race was over we walked part of the Shenango Trail and the Fishing Loop Trail to finish the Shenango Tail Patch.
There was also a leader from Troop 609 running in the race. Way to go Teri!
A former Volunteer with Troop 36870 ran in the race too! Go Aimee!
