At their recent Troop meeting, Daisy Troop 37041 decorated pumpkins for Avalon Springs Nursing Home and also to take home. A Girl Scout tradition, they also celebrated the birthday of Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts who was known by the nickname "Daisy", by wearing their Halloween costumes and having birthday cake. Juliette was born on October 31, 1860 and founded Girl Scouts in Savannah, Georgia on March 12, 1912.
