| Junior Girl Scout Troop 30374 recently completed all of the requirements for their Girl Scout Bronze Award. The girls saw a need for support of other students struggling with sadness, depression, loneliness, or lack of self worth at their school. They decided to provide encouragement and support to those who need some love. Mercer Area Elementary School now has signs of encouragement throughout the halls and each student will receive an inspirational card in their cubby on the first day of school! The guidance office also has a supply to share for encouragement. The girls greatly appreciate the support that their school principal, Mr. Acre, provided for their project. |
