Two Mile Run County Park Camping Trip
While tent camping at Two Mile Run County Park this weekend, Mercer Area Girl Scouts from Troops 30040 and 36324 completed a service project for the park, went canoeing, swimming, and hiking, and reviewed how to use a compass and wash dishes while camping. The girls also enjoyed campfire songs, skits, and of course, s'mores. A big thank you to Troop 36324 for working with the younger Girl Scouts on this trip and for the delicious foil dinners on Saturday night! Also a thank you to the leaders and adult volunteers who made the weekend possible - Kathy, Kelsey, Angela, Viki, Melanie, and Heather.
