Volunteers from the Mercer Area Girl Scouts hosted a "Journey in a Day Program" on Saturday for Girl Scouts from Mercer and Lawrence counties. The Girl Scouts in grades K-8 completed all but the Take Action project of their Journey award. A huge thank you to our local leaders who volunteered their time to make this event possible - Viki, Kelsey, Kathy, Melanie, and Angela, and to the older Girl Scouts who assisted at the event, Marley and Isabel.
