Girl Scout Troop 36324 coordinated a chapter book and school supply drive that took place at Mercer Area Elementary School for two weeks in December. Almost 1,100
donations were collected and the classroom with the most donations
earned a pizza party that was donated by the Girl Scout Troop.
The donations were collected for Sarah's Butterflies, a non-profit that distributes approximately 400 school supply bags to children in Mercer County on December 26 each year, along with almost twice as many "Blessing bags" (snacks).
