| Troop 36324 used some of their 2016 cookie sale proceeds to put the finishing touches on 20 Birthday Bags that they prepared and donated to two local food pantries. Cake mix and frosting had been collected at Service Unit events earlier this year so the girls went shopping at a Troop meeting for plates, napkins, and birthday candles as well as a few gift bags and cake mixes, then returned to their meeting place to assemble the bags. The girls plan to do this again in the fall, helped by community donations of Birthday Bag items, as their Bronze Award Project. |
