Girl Scouts and leaders enjoyed an afternoon of crafts that was hosted by Cheryl, Kathy, Kelsey and Melanie with the help of Makenzie, Jorrdeyn, Marissa, Miranda, Kate, Katie, Grace and Brianna from CSA Troop 30094. At the event the girls made Christmas cards for the nursing home, a Girl Scout Law SWAP, a necklace, homemade gift wrap, and a melted crayon picture. The girls "used resources wisely" as many of the crafts were made from re-purposed items such as paper grocery store bags, and old calendars and crayons. Towards the end of the event everyone enjoyed cake that was made and decorated by our very own "Cake Boss". It was almost too cute to eat! |
